Uncovering insights that matter: I specialize in research-driven design, empathizing with end users, using data and user feedback to craft solutions that solve real problems and exceed expectations
Establishing clarity through design: I craft design guidelines and low-fidelity mockups that set the stage for scalable, user-centered solutions using software like Figma, Sketch, and XD
Precision meets innovation: I create high-fidelity designs and prototypes that bring ideas to life with pixel-perfect detail and seamless functionality
Seamless from concept to launch: I excel at development handoff and product lifecycle support, ensuring designs are implemented flawlessly and evolve with user needs
I am a Senior Product Designer, Artist, and Musician with roots in Puerto Rico and a passion for visual design, technology, and creative expression. Based in Orlando, Florida, I specialize in designing user-centered digital solutions and currently work in a hybrid consulting role for a contractor developing simulation and soldier training software. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Web Design (BS) from the Art Institute of Atlanta and a Master of Science (MS) in Interactive Media and Communications with a focus on UI/UX from Quinnipiac University.
With over a decade of experience, I’ve collaborated with global corporations, defense contractors, and the space industry, delivering innovative design solutions that drive results. In 2022, I founded Interactive Consultation and Design, LLC, where I provided UI/UX design and consultation for clients like VMware. My work has directly contributed to securing millions in funding by presenting compelling current and future-state designs to stakeholders and leadership.
My Approach: I focus on creating software that evolves with user needs by combining empathy-driven design with a strategic approach. From research and ideation to wireframing, prototyping, and development handoff, I deliver end-to-end design solutions that solve complex problems and exceed client expectations.
I applied best UX practices to design a prototype for an IRS form stepper that simplifies complex tax filing processes into manageable, user-friendly steps. Through user research, I identified pain points such as overwhelming information and unclear navigation, which often lead to user frustration. To address these, I incorporated clear progress indicators, concise instructions, and error-prevention mechanisms, ensuring users could confidently complete each section without confusion. The design leveraged accessibility standards, such as high-contrast text and intuitive keyboard navigation, to accommodate diverse user needs. By implementing interactive prototypes with real-world scenarios, I conducted usability testing to refine the stepper’s flow and improve overall efficiency. This prototype not only streamlined form completion but also enhanced user satisfaction, making a traditionally tedious process more approachable and efficient.
